"If I'm lucky enough, I will get through the hard things and they will make me gentle to the ways of the world."
I know whenever I go through obstacles or tricky things in life, I tend to question why it is all happening. I feel like the pain and discomfort I am going through is for no reason. In reality, that's not the case at all. Everything that happens in your life is for a reason. Everything is according the His plan. Allow Him to guide you in this journey and lean into His word.
Sometimes the Lord doesn't provide what we desire immediately. He does so to strengthen us and prepare us. Do not be afraid to pray the hard prayers and receive the hard answers. To be tested is truly a blessing. Stepping back and letting Him fully guide you will lead you to His greater things planned for you. Improve slowly in His word. He knows you are better day by day through Him.
James 1:12 | Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
You pray for patience, so you are tested with delays.
You pray for love, so you are tested with being alone.
You pray for discipline, so you are tested with temptation.
You pray for wisdom, so you are tested with mistakes.
You pray for kindness, so you are tested with bad behavior.
"I asked the Lord for flowers and He gave me rain."
To know that God is trying you, is knowing that He believes in you. Trusting God in the tests and the storms is what makes us stronger in our faith. No matter what, walk in joy knowing it is all for a greater good and fulfill His will in our lives and in our process of satisfaction. Be satisfied in His plan and with His answers.
"If it feels like you are forcing it to work, it must not be apart of God's plan for you right now."
Like I said earlier, everyone loves when things go their way. People love when things go according to THEIR plan, not anyone else's. However, it is important to trust in the Lord. He knows all and has a plan for you. There may be a few bumps along the way, but His plan is well worth it. Remember to always put your trust in Him and always give grace:)
