Letters are so important in life. It is how we communicate with one another. It is what we use to spell out words like "Thank you" or "I love you." Letters are things we send as an expression to those we love and care about. Letters are parts of the alphabet that spell out our favorite things. But most importantly, letters are all about perspective.
Letters can also spell out this we don't enjoy as much. However, they can spell out things we enjoy and make us happy in our sweet, silly little lives. It is all about perspective. I mean, all of life is about perspective right?

Hate has four letters, but so does the word love
Why would you spend time hating on others or things, when you could spend you time spreading love? Love is beautiful, so why not spread it. It can even just be through a simple wave or smile, or going as far as buying someone coffee. 1 Corinthians 16:14 says, "Let everything you do be done in love." Acts of love or kindness can heal anything, so don't be afraid to be kind to others, rather than hateful.
Cry has three letters, but so does the word joy
Crying is normally sad. Obviously. However, crying isn't always a bad thing. It can be a happy cry. One that is just you admiring how amazing the world is. Sometimes I cry after watching soldier coming home videos or after watching someone get married in one of my favorite romantic-comedy movies. Crying doesn't always have to be associated with the negative things. I always think of the phrase "tears or joy." This is when someone is crying from the intense amount of happiness that they are feeling. Pure Joy. Joy has three letters too.
Enemies has seven letters, but so does the word friends
Enemies and friends, at least in my mind, are complete and total opposites. Enemies is a person who is opposed or hostile to someone or something. Friends is someone who has a mutual bond of affection towards one another. You may start off as "enemies" with someone after an argument over something or after they give you a mean look on accident. But it is important to think about the bigger picture. Forgiveness is key. It can lead to a healthier lifestyle as well as better relationships with others. I know not everyone believes in giving second chances, however, who knows...maybe this person who you think is your "enemy" is your future best friend and you may have just had a bump in the road?
Negativity has ten letters, but so does the word positivity
I have always and forever been a glass half full type of girl. This means that even when my glass is slightly empty, or life isn't going exactly my way, I try to look at the positive aspect of my situation. For example, if I didn't get the job I applied for, at least not I have the chance for another opportunity that may suit me better than I had thought. Negativity just keeps you focused on all the bad. You get so caught up in it that you are completely ignoring all of the good things going on in your life. When you are looking at things will a glass half full, you are able to focus on the good in life. You are able to be more present and appreciate all the wins and little things that you currently have going for you. You are able to be more and more grateful for things going on in your everyday life. Glass half full, not glass half empty.
Perspective can change anything. Anything at all. I only gave a few words for example, but there are so many other instances where perspective can change your outlook on life. It shapes our thoughts, emotions, and just our general well-being. Start each day by trying to flip the bad into the good, stay positive and always give yourself grace:)
